What we provide

Below are the features available for you in the app. We aim to provide user-friendly platform that enables you to manoeuvre the app with ease. Whether you are a diabetic patient or a family member, this app can be tailored to suit your personal preferences.

Coding

User-friendly

The app encompasses different aspects of a diabetic's life while maintaining its simplicity. It neatly splits into various sections such as appointments, food tracker, goals, health parameters, medication reminders and weekly health checks. The design is simple and easy to navigate, with "features" icon to guide the user.

Connectivity

Using safe and secure mechanisms such as a unique user sharing ID, users have the option of sharing specific information with others. One can access the app as a diabetic user or as a family/friend of the user. The unique user sharing ID gives the diabetic autonomy on their information and sharing privileges. The user can also select specific sets of information they are willing to share.

Health Parameters

Health parameters such as HbA1c, Body Mass Index (BMI) and Blood Pressure are important markers to monitor one's condition. These health parameters are used by healthcare professionals to determine and track the severity of diabetes. This app has a section for users to record these outcomes after every clinical visit so that they can have a better understanding and awareness of their health.

Self-check

There is a weekly self check section, which includes an eye check, feet check and exercise update. This is crucial because diabetics often suffer from irreversible vision loss and diabetic foot. Although diabetics are encouraged to have an annual eye and foot check, it is useful to retain this awareness and examine their own health regularly. It is a few simple questions. The outcome of the check will either reassure the user or urge them to call their GP. Early detection can drastically change the prognosis of the diabetic.

Prescription Drugs

Medication

Many diabetics are taking regular medication for diabetes and other health-related purposes. The medications section provide a systematic view for the users to list the medication name, dose and frequency. They can upload a photo of the drug to avoid the consumption of the wrong drug. The app will alert a notification when it is time to take the medication as a reminder. Some medications, such as insulin, are time-sensitive, thus the app promotes medication adherence and compliance. Having a list of medication readily on hand also eases the medical consultation process and reviews.

Appointment

The app has a section for listing medical appointments. This includes the appointment event, time and date, location, as well as notes for relevant information or reminders. There will be notification sent prior to the session. This helps the users keep track of their consultations as to avoid missing or forgetting important appointments.

Food diary

There is a section for the user to keep a food log. This involves recording what food they have consumed and uploading a photo of the meal. This helps to keep the user accountable for the types and portions of food they are consuming. This also raises awareness of the types and amounts of food they might be unknowingly consuming. By tracking their food habits and progress, it helps them work towards a sustainable and healthy diet.
